Depending on the seasonal load and the number of units required to restore a prolonged city-wide outage, you can expect us to be working quickly to restore power in about 30 minutes. One power plant person is always on-call and minutes away from the plant to respond in a timely manner. Please don’t call the plant phone to see if we are aware of the outage, or when power will be restored. The phone “buzzer” is an unnecessary distraction during a period when we are concentrating in a high-stress environment to safely restore power to the city.
